Vans Views and Brews

Adapted recreational and leisure vehicles can play a significant role in enhancing the quality of life for disabled individuals by promoting independence, social inclusion, and emotional well-being helping them to experience their Vanlife dream.  These vehicles are designed with specialized controls, lifts, ramps, and seating to accommodate a variety of physical needs whether catering for the needs of the driver or passengers. By removing traditional physical barriers, these vehicles empower disabled individuals to explore the outdoors, travel, and participate in leisure activities that may otherwise be out of reach. This freedom fosters a stronger sense of self-reliance and personal agency, which is crucial for mental health and overall life satisfaction.

Beyond the individual benefits, adapted recreational vehicles also strengthen community and family connections. They enable disabled individuals to take part in group camping trips, beach outings, or nature excursions with friends and family without needing constant assistance. This inclusion in shared activities helps reduce social isolation, a common challenge for with disabilities. Whether it's a road trip across the country or a weekend drive, these vehicles provide opportunities for adventure, bonding, and discovery.

One of the main barriers preventing the disabled community accessing  Campervan and Motorhome experience, is the limited availability of adapted vehicles. As each person's needs are individual it can be difficult for Camper hire companies to have vehicles with adaptaions that will cater for all disability or mobility challenges.

It was with this in mind that we formed our sister company Limitless Campers last year.  We undertake everything from full bespoke conversions or part builds as well as offering ancilliory services such as

  • fitting of windows,
  • Pop tops,
  • heating sytems,
  • solar panels,
  • leisure batteries
  • electrical work

Using our knowledge and decades of experience of providing driving and access solutions to everday vehicles and Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) for drivers and passengers that have disabilities or mobility challenges, we are able to seamlessly incorporate these within our own and your existing builds.

We recently hosted a Campervan meet up we named  Van, Views and Brews at the scenic Field House Camping & Coffee Barn

The sun shone, making those already stunning views even more breathtaking. It was brilliant to connect with so many passionate enthusiasts, swapping stories of vanlife adventures and admiring all the unique and inspiring van conversions. So many great ideas were shared – the creativity was so great to see.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day such a success. And a massive cheers to the team at the Coffee Barn who were very busy keeping us all fuelled with their delicious food and drinks – you were amazing and it is such a great venue to visit.
