The revolutionary Lodgesons bleeper system provides an advanced solution for those with severely limited overall mobility. It enables driving, which would otherwise prove very difficult or indeed impossible.
Providing simple and effective operation of the indicators, lights (including dip, main and flash), front wipers (intermittent, low, and high speed), rear wash and wipe and the horn. Up to 13 functions are made accessible to those who cannot operate the vehicle’s conventional controls effectively.
This innovative modification is achieved by hard wiring a “bleeper” button within the interior of the vehicle. The button can be fitted in various locations and placement is tailored to each person’s individual ability and comfort. To operate the button can be pressed with hands, fingers, head elbow etc. When pressed and held down, the bleeper will pass through a cycle of secondary functions, bleeping as it passes through each option.
When the required control is reached, it can be selected by holding down the button. The most frequently used controls are at the beginning of the bleeper sequence for convenience. Holding down the button again will cancel the control. This adaptation remarkably improves a person’s ability to control the vehicle's secondary controls whilst they are driving and, once mastered, it provides a very effective and efficient method of selecting many of the vehicle’s important functions..
